HHB: How did you get introduced to DJ'ing?
Dj Blazita: I've always been heavy into music while growing up... playing instruments like piano. In high school and college I had my own hip hop radio show so it was the next step to learn to DJ. I was inspired when I was at Penn State and djs like Kid Capri, Flex and even some of the DJs I went to school with were shutting down the parties. I had a friend teach me the basics of turntablism and I took it from there.
HHB: What are some of the obstacles you had encountered being a female DJ?
